A NEW hall at a Ross-on-Wye school has been blessed by a very special visitor.
The Archbishop of Cardiff, The Most Rev Peter Smith, was at St Joseph’s Primary School to commemorate the opening of the new building.
“We were delighted and privileged to have the hall blessed and are grateful for the continued support of the diocese,” said headteacher Bernie Davies.
“The Archbishop was thrilled to see each child put on a production to showcase the variety of activities that will be done in the hall and and was delighted to see the new building.”
The new facility features gymnastic bars and it will also be used for music, drama and worship.
“The children have been without a hall for some time and are looking forward to putting on productions, including Nativity plays,” Mrs Davies added.
