THE organiser of a multi-terrain run is looking for participants and sponsors to help raise charity funds.

Ronnie Scully, of Fownhope, organises the eight-mile Hope Valley Run each year, and this time is looking to help the British Red Cross.

Ten per cent of the course runs through Haugh Wood between Fownhope and Woolhope, and the rest is a woodland trail. Marshalls will be all around the circuit.

Ronnie has secured the support of Sixth Sense and Nick Mabe at hereford.uk.com but needs more in the form of sponsorship and prizes.

The event is open to amateur runners as defined by the rules of UK Athletics and all entrants must be aged over 16. Runners are invited to collect sponsorship money and spectators are welcome.

Would-be participants and sponsors can get more information from pagets-spring.co.uk or by calling Ronnie on 01432 860295.
