Floods - road closure latest

THE latest list of road closures in the county has been released by Herefordshire Council.
The roads currently closed because of floodwater are;
Broad Bridge at Bromyard; the A438 at Tarrington; the A44 between Leominster and Monkland; the A465 at Ewyas Harold and Llangua; the A438 between Letton and Kinnersley; the A417 Maund Common at Bodenham; the A4113 Walford to Leintwardine; the B4521 between St Owen's Cross and Wormelow; the Longtown to Pandy road; Bullingham Lane and the B4224 by the Wye Inn in Hereford; and Prospect Hill in Peterchurch.

Herefordshire Council emergency information line is open
Herefordshire Council has re-opened its emergency information line. Local people are urged to contact the council on 01432 260260 for the latest information on the state of the roads, for advice and help on emergency measures and to report incidents they are aware of.
Latest information concerns the following roads:

C1001 Brampton Bryan – now closed
C1267 Brockampton – now closed
C1273 Hole in the Wall at Ross – now closed
B4399 Mordiford to Holme Lacy – causeway is closed
A40 Hereford to Gwent - flooded inside lane of both carriageways
A4110 Bainstree to Lawton Cross – now closed
A417 – Bodenham to Burley Gate – now closed
A438 Hereford to Ledbury – passable with care
A44 Leominster to Monkland – closed
A465 at Llangua - closed as the River Dore burst its banks
Broad Bridge at Bromyard - closed
B4224 – Wye Inn to Railway Bridge, Rotherwas – now closed
B4521 St Owens Cross to Wormelow - closed
B4632 at Combe Bridge - passable with care
A438 Letton to Kinnersley - closed
A4137 Llangarron - closed
A4113 Walford to Lentwardine - closed
Bullingham Lane and Watery Lane in Hereford - closed
Sellack to Hoarwithy Road – now closed
Breinton off the Hereford to Brecon Road is flooded with knee-deep water
Prospect Hill, Peterchurch - closed due to landslide
A417 Maund Common at Bodenham – now passable with care
The Longtown to Pandy road – passable with extreme care
Moreton-on-Lugg to Marden – passable with extreme care
C1032 Pembridge to Milton Crossroads – passable with extreme care
A465 – Hereford to Abergavenny – now open
A465 at Stoke Lacy - now open
A465 at Mintridge - now open
A417 at Canon Frome - now open
B4203 at Bromyard - now open
A4103 at Lower Eggleton - now open
A4103 East of Newtown Cross - now open
