HEREFORD businesses are toasting success after impressing judges in a floral decorations competition.
Judged by Herefordshire Council’s parks, countryside and leisure department, in partnership with Hereford City Council, the aim is to encourage traders to brighten up their premises and improve the appearance of the city.
The banks and offices prize went to Beaumont’s Solicitors in Offa Street, while the Three Counties Hotel on Belmont Road won the hotels and public houses (large fronted premises) category, with The Bay Horse on Kings Acre Road taking the small fronted prize.
John McKellar in Church Street won the small fronted shop award, with Rockfield DIY claiming the large fronted prize.
And Bewell Square in the centre of Hereford won the award dedicated to ‘Other Premises’.
