A LEDBURY school has been served with a regional award for its attitude to food.
John Masefield High School is the first in the West Midlands to earn a bronze mark from the Food for Life Partnership.
The partnership aims to improve school meals, while inspiring pupils to learn more about food.
Teamwork was the dish of the day, as the school's attitude towards seasonal cooking, leadership and community involvement impressed judges.
Wendy Bradbeer, School Manager, said she was delighted the school's efforts had been recognised.
The awards come four months after JMHS was awarded a four-star rating by Herefordshire Council for its food hygeine standards.
