A CHARITY golf day has raised almost £5,000 for disabled and disadvantaged children.
More than 150 golfers teed off as part of Hereford City Rotary Club’s annual AM/AM Golf Tournament at Herefordshire Golf Club.
They raised cash for the children of Number 1 Ledbury Road, a respite home for disabled five to 18-yearolds, and Bods, which runs programmes for schools, pupil referral units and care homes for children at risk of exclusion.
“It makes me proud to live in Herefordshire,” said Rotary Club member Paul Morris.
“You can always guarantee the people and businesses in our county will step up the mark and help others less fortunate than themselves.”
