Painted Room open day

12:40pm Friday 18th July 2008

ONE of Ledbury’s most historic attractions is holding an open day for charity next week.

New and updated displays are being unveiled at the Painted Room on Tuesday, July 22.

Tea, coffee and cakes are being served from 11am to 4pm, with proceeds going to Macmillan Renton Appeal.

The mayor of Ledbury, Keith Francis, will open the event and the Town Crier will also be present.

The Painted Room dates to the mid 16th century, and is located in the town council offices, off Church Lane.
