Presteigne gears up for festival

A UNIQUE festival that celebrates the electric bike is gearing up for its third annual outing this weekend.

Models such as the Urban Mover and the Sun Runner will be on show at the ‘Tour de Presteigne’ in the town centre on Saturday and Sunday as well as scooters, motorcycles, cars and vans.

Talks will include a special Question Time at the Assembly Rooms with Carbon Detox author George Marshall and TV’s Brigit Strawbridge, presenter of It’s Not Easy Being Green.

Walks for ramblers and a special bike hill climbing event will also take place before a final one hour rally of vehicles around the town centre on Sunday afternoon.
