FREE car parking will be provided in Hereford city centre when late night shopping begins next week.
Herefordshire Council car parks including the Old Market and on-street pay and display, will be free for shoppers after 4pm for late night Christmas shopping every Wednesday between November 22 and December 20.
There will be a range of shops open late, including Maylord Orchards, the Old Market and High Town and the surrounding area.
Free parking does not apply to any of the private car parks in the city centre, except the Old Market.
Free Christmas parking will also be available in council car parks, to coincide with the following events:
Ross-on-Wye Christmas lights switch on- Sunday (November 19); Ledbury Christmas lights switch on- November 25; Kington Food & Drink Festival- December 2; and Leominster Victorian Market- December 9.
