NEW Radnor Carnival promises to have something for all ages next month.

Taking place on August 12, there will be a fancy dress and float parade, a scarecrow competition, traditional games, a fun dog show, craft market, bouncy castle, rounder’s tournament, It’s a Knockout and lots more, including a traditional tea tent, variety of food and a bar.

“We’ve worked hard to try and make it a day that everyone can enjoy and get involved in,” said a spokesperson for the organising committee.

Those wishing to take part in the float procession should begin to assemble at Radnor Valley Primary School from 12 noon, walking fancy dress should also come to the school for the parade to begin at 1pm.

Entries for the scarecrow competition, should have their creations to the school field for judging at noon.
