WORKS have been taking place to upgrade communications equipment at a number of county fire stations.
The communication antennas on the drill towers have been replaced with standalone masts and new antennas at Fownhope, Ewyas Harold, Leintwardine, Leominster and Whitchurch stations.
The old towers were deemed unsafe to climb.
