A FUNDRAISER for a mental health charity is visiting Hereford next week as part of his year-long journey to all 92 historic UK counties.

John Bloodworth, known as the 'Gentleman Crafter', is hoping to raise £20,000 for Mind and is living and travelling in a motorhome named Maisy, visiting craft groups, organising workshops and sharing his crafting knowledge, while promoting the charity.

Mr Bloodworth, 43, has suffered periods of severe depression and anxiety disorder in his life and has found Mind to be a valuable resource in understanding his condition.

So far he has raised almost £14,000 and has visited 34 counties since April 2016. He is holding his Herefordshire craft workshop on Monday (January 16) in the Pedlar’s Tray at Wyevale Garden Centre on Kings Acre Road.
