A CAR which had been left running while being defrosted was mistakenly taken by a garage employee who thought it was booked in for an MOT.
The car was reported stolen after it had been left running on December 1 at 8.10am in Tudorville in Ross-on-Wye.
The Vauxhall Agila was later returned as police said it had been mistakenly taken by a garage believing it was booked in to be collected for a MOT.
Officers said no crime was committed.
