DRIVERS in Hereford will now be able to pay with card at car parks owned by the council.
Most of the Herefordshire Council city car parks' pay and display machines will be equipped with the debit and credit card readers over the coming days.
People can pay with contactless payment, making the council one of the first local authorities to provide this new technology on its pay and display machines.
There will be no additional fee or minimum spend and a receipt will be issued by the machine, if required.
Drivers will still be able to pay with cash or via Ringo.
