A YOUNG Herefordshire entrepreneur has been chosen to be a county representative for a Richard Branson initiative.
Ed Deacon from Much Dewchurch has been chosen as a Virgin StartUp Ambassador- he is one of ten chosen out of thousands of businesses.
The 21-year-old was given an £18,000 Virgin Start-Up loan to help set up Shooting Reels, a video production agency that uses innovative technology such as drones to get the best shots.
And now he will spread the word about how the loan helped him set up his business.
He said: "My role over the next 12 months as a Virgin StartUp Ambassador will be promoting entrepreneurship in Herefordshire throughout the UK.
"From producing video episodes online to holding events in Hereford. This is to further inspire people to start their own businesses, build a stronger start-up business network and celebrate entrepreneurship in Hereford."
He met Sir Richard Branson with the other ambassadors and also produced the promotional video for the launch.
Mr Deacon is now looking to expand his business and employ editors and freelance cameramen.
