A HEREFORDSHIRE farmer will be entering the Dragons’ Den this weekend to ask for an investment to expand her cocktail mixer business.

Jo Hilditch has been producing British Cassis, a blackcurrant alcoholic mixture, for more than ten years from the blackcurrants she grows on her farm in Lyonshall.

An English take on the French Creme de Cassis, British Cassis can be added to champagne or sparkling wine to make a Kir Royale cocktail.

This Sunday on BBC2 at 8pm she will pitch her idea of national expansion to the Dragons asking for £50,000 for ten percent of her business.

Dragons’ Den sees budding entrepreneurs get three minutes to pitch their business ideas to five multi-millionaires willing to invest their own cash.

To find out how Jo gets on tune in to BBC2 this Sunday at 8pm.
