THERE will be a charity rugby game and festival day held in memory of Ollie Floyd in Ross-on-Wye.

Mr Floyd was a popular player at Ross Rugby Club, where he had played for three years, when he died aged 20 on March 3.

The event on Sunday, August 30 will be at the rugby grounds in Greytree with a memorial match at 2pm between Ross Rugby 15 and Forest Rugby 15.

There will be a bar, fun fair, and live music from 5pm.

All proceeds will go to charity. Parking is £3. Do not bring your own drinks.

An inquest date is still yet to be set for Mr Floyd, who died after the agricultural sprayer he was in rolled into a lake at the Celtic Manor Resort golf course near Newport.
