MORE than 30 county-based food and drink producers will be selling their wares at this year's Ledbury Celebration of Food, Drink, Poetry and Music.

The day-long event, which will be held across the Bye Street, Orme and Slade car parks, takes place on July 12.

On offer will be a full programme of live music and poetry, while those attending will be able to buy locally-produced beer, ciders, wines and fruit juices.

Alongside this, touring theatre company The Fetch will be present, providing a highly visual style of theatre including puppetry and mask work aimed at all ages.

CowGirl Parlour - a sound installation inside a caravan with live outdoor performances and a pop up ice cream - will also be present.

Catherine Every, who is leading the organisation of the day on behalf of Ledbury Food Group, said: “The Ledbury Celebration is in its sixth year and is going from strength to strength because it’s a great day out with something for everyone."

The free event is jointly organised by the food group and Ledbury Poetry Festival to celebrate the last day of the Poetry Festival and champion the town's food and drink.
