POLICE are appealing for any witnesses who may have been close to the scene of a near head-on collision.
The Hereford Times reported previously how video footage emerged showing a car overtaking a horse on rural country road, the B4352 at Madley, on Sunday May 24.
Michael Preedy was driving slowly behind his partner who was walking with her horse when another motorist overtook them and only narrowly avoided being in collision with a car driving in the opposite direction.
Mr Preedy said he had an amber beacon flashing on his roof to warn other drivers as well as hazard lights and a horse plate.
Police want to hear from anyone who was using the road on that day and either saw the overtake or can remember seeing the horse and escort vehicle.
Witnesses should call PC Bob Conway on 101.
