ARCHERS of all ages are being invited to try out archery, even if they have never picked up a bow and arrow before, as the Lugg Valley Company of Archers support Archery GB's Big Weekend event.
On Saturday May 30, the club, which has several members from the Ledbury area, will be offering “have a go” sessions from 10 am to 4 pm at Mordiford Primary School.
A club spokesman said: "All equipment will be provided, so all participants need to do is bring along themselves and plenty of enthusiasm."
Archery GB’s Big Weekend, in association with Foresters Friendly Society, will see around 80 clubs across the
country open their doors to potential archers.
There will be a small charge of £2 for 6 arrows.
