Witnesses can call 101.
A MAN stopped a woman to ask for directions in Hereford before running away with her phone.
The theft happened outside the Dolphin Fish Bar on Eign Gate at 9am on Tuesday.
The woman gave directions to Lloyds Bank but the suspect walked off in the wrong direction.
It was then she realised her phone was missing and, when she shouted out, the man began to run towards the subway.
The phone is a lime green iPhone in a white case with cartoons on the back.
The man is described as being around 5ft 3ins tall, of medium build and in his 30s with olive skin.
He is believed to have been wearing dark clothing and light dirty trainers.
Anyone with any information should call police on 101.
