TWO Leominster brothers have been recognised for their dedication to leading walks for people with learning difficulties in the town.
Despite having learning difficulties themselves, Kevin and Jason Stuchbery turn out every Wednesday to lead a walk as part of the Walking For Health project.
Dennis Downey, scheme co-ordinator for walking Health in Leominster, recently nominated the brothers for a Ramblers award.
They were shortlisted before being voted winners and were praised for their 'dedication, expertise and enthusiasm'.
They will attend an event during national volunteer week on Saturday June 6 in Luton where they will be presented with their awards.
Kevin said: "We're looking forward to going to Luton and meeting the president of the Ramblers Association. It would be nice if some of the Ramblers came to Leominster to meet our group."
Mr Downey added that the pair deserved the admiration of the people of Herefordshire.
