Gloucestershire Police are appealing for witnesses and information, following the burglary of a family home, last week.

The property in Solomon's Tump Road, Huntley, to the south of Newent, was broken into between 5am on Tuesday, February 17 and 1am on Wednesday, February 25.

A police spokesman said: "It is believed the offenders broke in through a door at the rear of the property. An untidy search was carried out throughout the house and an amount of cash was taken.

"We would like to hear from anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in this area between these times and dates. If anyone can help they are asked to contact the constabulary via 101 quoting incident no. 6 of 25/02/15."
