AUSTRALIAN bestseller, Brooke Davis will be taking a road trip around the country, working in bookshops far and wide, as she becomes Hutchinson’s ‘Wandering Bookseller’ for 10 days.

As a former bookseller in her native Australia, Brooke will be doing a stint in bookshops around the country to help promote her debut novel, Lost & Found, which she was inspired to write after the sudden death of her mother. She’ll be talking to readers and book groups, making recommendations, stacking shelves, signing books, even learning how to be a barista in a bookshop café.

On Monday, February 2, Brooke will spend the morning, from 11am to 1pm, at Rossiter Books in Ross-on-Wye. Her novel, Lost and Found is the story of Millie Bird, a seven-yeard old whose mum leaves her one day in a department store and doesn't come back. With the help of 82-year-old Agatha Pantha who hasn't left her home since her husband died, and Karl the touch typist who once typed love letters with his fingers on to his wife's skin, Millie sets out to find her mum.

Meet Brooke Davis at Rossiter Books, Ross-on-Wye on Monday, from 11am to 1pm.
