BURGLARS targeted Biddulph Way in Ledbury twice last weekend, in incidents very close to each other in time.

West Mercia Police say one break-in took place between 6pm and 11.45pm on Friday, September 26.

Intruders gained access to the rear of the property through force.

Once inside they made "an untidy search of the kitchen cupboards and the upstairs bedrooms". Whoever was responsible closed all the curtains upstairs before emptying all drawers and cupboards and jewellery boxes.

Jewellery, to an unspecified value, was stolen and £100 worth of damage was done to the property.

A second burglary in Biddulph Way took place between 7.40pm on Friday September 26 and 9am on Saturday, September 27.

Entry was gained to the rear of the property through force.

Police say a a tidy search of the ground floor was carried out, but also an untidy search of two bedrooms and an office.

Police are still assessing what was taken, as the situation is still "unclear".
