AN electric road sign burst in to flames and collapsed on Lower Bullingham Lane this afternoon (July 24).
The sign gave off several small explosions before a fire crew could attend the incident, at around 3.20pm.
An engineer from Western Power then isolated power to the flaming sign, making the area safe.
More to follow.
