Ross-on-Wye shoppers warned about card scam

TWO women had their cash cards stolen while shopping in the Morrisons store in Ross-on-Wye.

Both victims, aged 71 and 66, had paid for their goods and were in the car park when they were approached by a woman.

Shortly afterwards, the pair realised their bank cards had gone and large amounts of money had been taken from their accounts.

The first incident happened at lunchtime on October 17 while the second was on the morning of October 25.

Cash was withdrawn from an ATM before an attempt to buy high value items was made in the Argos branches of Gloucester and Hereford.

Anyone with information can call PC Belinda Masters at Ross-on-Wye police station on 101.
