I AM pleased that Herefordshire Council has offered a deal with Arena Leisure and Northern Racing to keep the racecourse open.
They’re always shouting about the crowds being low, but why did they make it a one-off price for entry?
A few years ago we could pay to go on the course then we had a choice of getting a transfer over to the paddock enclosure for extra monies if we wanted to.
At least we had a choice. As it is now, it doesn’t help the small punter.
