THANKS to the speedy reaction to scan results by my lovely doctor I recently spent a week on Teme ward at Hereford County Hospital awaiting transfer out of the county for spinal surgery.

On Teme ward I was lucky enough to be cared for by the most thoughtful, friendly, reassuring and efficient members of staff.

Everwhere was spotless and the food was delicious. The pre-order system meant that I could always be sure of a veggie option with portion size to match appetite. The natural flavours of the food could be tasted as it was not full of additives.

I would like, through your letters, to say a massive “thank you” to everyone whom I came in contact with.
