Torch bearer Margaret receives fantastic welcome in Bartestree

Such a welcome I WAS one of the Olympic Torch carriers on May 24 in Bartestree.

I would like to express my sincere thanks to the general public who gave me such a fantastic welcome. Carrying the torch was an honour and privilege on this historic occasion which never in my wildest dreams did I think would happen to me.

I felt so emotional that so many people gave up their time to cheer us Olympic Torch carriers on.
