Sheila Taylor of Mill Lane, Bradville, Milton Keynes, says supporters ignored on Ledbury Town’s store plan

MY mother has lived in Ledbury for over 40 years and is now in her 80s. It would be a tremendous help to her if there were to be a Sainsbury’s at the lower end of town. I visit the town regularly and do know how congested the other supermarkets are.

They are very small with inadequate parking. With all the new houses to be built in Ledbury, I would have thought the council intelligent enough to have understood the need for more facilities.

It would appear to me that the wishes of the long-term residents of Ledbury are being ignored to satisfy the wishes of a few newcomers who live in villages outside the town.
