Keith Martin, holiday home secretary, Hereford Lions Club, has holidays for the deserving

LAST year more than 200 people from Hereford and surrounding villages enjoyed a free seaside break at the Hereford Lions Club Holiday Home at Burnham-on- Sea, Somerset.

It is a community service the club has been providing for some 40 years to help those who, for whatever reason, would not otherwise get a holiday the rest of us take for granted.

The holiday home is on the sea front and has facilities for the handicapped.

The week-long breaks are selfcatering, but guests are taken to Burnham-on-Sea in the Lions’ minibus.

Hereford Lions Club is inviting applications for a holiday this coming spring and summer, either from individuals or from family or friends who know someone who would benefit from a break at the seaside.
