I AGREE wholeheartedly with the letter from Tony Shadforth (Readers’ Times, February 18) about the lessons for life and the great enjoyment in playing bridge.
Sadly, I don’t think he is quite correct about the availability of a duplicate bridge club almost anywhere in the county.
I love to visit Hay-on-Wye where I have family, but there does not seem to be an EBU club nearer than the very nice bridge clubs in the Hereford area, and these are 25 or more miles from Hay.
