I WAS sorry that Sarah Carr has stated in recent campaign literature that her main opponent is “a career politician, whose family doesn’t live locally and doesn’t use local services, and will toe the party line whether it’s right or wrong for Hereford”.
I belong to no political party. But I believe this statement is untrue, unfair and an insult to voters.
I hope that the Hereford and South Herefordshire electorate is more interested in the policies of the political parties and the views of the candidates than personal insults.
Let us have positive electioneering and make an effort to attend the hustings and address searching questions to the candidates.
