Hereford Open Door charity managed to open the shelter for six days over Christmas, providing breakfasts, lunches and takeaway food bags for people who are homeless and have all sorts of problems.

A big “thank you” to all the volunteers for helping in the shelter and to businesses like Cargill and Connections, which donated money and goods.

Lots of other companies donated food and the Mayor donated lots of fruit and chocolates.

Hereford people have been so kind, and also thanks to the council for finding bed and breakfast for some of our homeless in the dreadful weather.

So a big thank you to the kind people of Hereford.
