OVER the years I have read numerous letters criticising Hereford County Hospital.
I have recently spent four weeks in the County, mostly on Monnow Ward, and must say that I enjoyed every minute of them.
The treatment I received was excellent, the attention of the staff, nurses, sisters, plasterers and consultants was 100 per cent.
The cleaners were meticulous and constantly circulating.
The breakfast lady and the tea boy were always friendly and helpful.
I found the food perfectly acceptable, adequate and well-presented with plenty of variety. I was met with politeness, courtesy, friendship, comfort and assistance.
County Hospital, take a bow, and tell the moaners to go elsewhere if they can find anything better.
PETER GLOVER, Whitney-on-Wye.
