IN reply to June Baxter's letter about Herefordshire Matters, it is vital the ratepayer has a notion of what the council provides.
This easy-to-read publication provides a fascinating account of the diversity of the council remit, also a number of very useful phone numbers, albeit the one for the Kington Centre has just been corrected.
My only problem is that I have to go to the library to collect my copy, where I also find much more council-generated information that is of great value to the ratepayer.
