We at Herefordshire Sailing Club have been taking a fresh breath, drawing a line under what has recently happened and are looking
forward to see what we as a club can do to secure low impact, affordable sailing and canoeing for our members and the public of Herefordshire.
We realise that the 5 year plan including RYA training, that we tendered hoping to contribute to the challenge to balance the books
at Queenswood and Bodenham Lakes was too ambitious to harmoniously blend with Herefordshire Wildlife Trust's conservation and protection plans.
We are contacting HWT to put forward a completely new approach based on an integrated partnership proposal for discussion
with HWT and New Leaf, to keep sailing and canoeing at the Lakes available at an affordable and sustainable level for the people of Herefordshire.”
