Differences of opinion and expressing strongly held views are good indications of free speech in a democratic society and should be respected. HOWEVER the debate concerning the EU referendum is getting ridiculous.

Each side is spreading fear stories, exaggerations and misleading information. One side says one thing and the other side immediately contradicts it. Both sides can not be right, or telling the truth even. So how disconcerting do they think it appears to the ordinary voting public. These are the people who run our country. If our politicians often in the same political party distrust each other to such a degree. How on earth can we the voting public trust them to continue to run the country.

Surely once the referendum is over and all this craziness has abated (whatever the result) there must be a call for a GENERAL ELECTION. We can not have these same people negotiating and steering the UK into what will be an uncertain future when they distrust and show such contempt for us as well as each other.
