THE Eco Committee at Riverside Primary School is writing to complain that we are appalled because the council is reducing the capacity of our re-cycling bins and also charging us to empty them.
We think that this option is wrong because we are trying to be green and more eco-friendly to our environment. Also we want to educate other children to be more environmentally friendly and treat our world with more respect. We don’t think the council’s policy gives the right message about the importance of re-cycling or helps schools to do the right thing with their waste.
In summary, we think the council should re-cycle more and do a little bit more to fulfil their responsibilities.
