WE share Brenda Kidd’s concern about the small number of accessible toilet/changing facilities for people with disability or mobility issues who are unable to use the few remaining public ones in Hereford (Facilities for the disabled are essential, Letters, June 18).

Aspire is a local charity offering services to people with a learning or physical disability and empathises with her frustration at the lack of facilities.

We have a community hub on Canal Road in Hereford and have both accessible toilets and a Changing Places room. We would be more than happy to offer her great grand-daughter use of our facilities which are pleasant, bright, clean and in a central location with parking.

We would be very happy to support a petition or join Mrs Kidd in discussions with local councillors in an effort to improve the situation, and we will be talking to our existing members and other stakeholders to raise awareness of this issue.

Our aim is that Herefor- dshire should be an inclusive county with facilities and services for every member of its community.

Mrs Kidd and her great-granddaughter would be very welcome to visit us and see what we can offer them. We can be contacted on 01432 266881.
