WE have a wonderful blind college in Hereford which we should be proud of with students coming from many areas.
But what does our council or highways department do to make to help the students navigate the town safely?
I have frequently helped students to cross the road and I really don’t know how they manage.
Cities in Europe I have visited have noise-assisted crossing at lights so blind people can feel safe when they cross, but there are none here.
They do wonderful work at the college and I have been fortunate in the past to be given therapeutic massages and reflexoloxy there and the skills were amazing.
Come on Hereford, be more helpful to the blind.
