WOULD Herefordshire’s two MPs, and those who will stand against them in the May elections, be prepared to debate their policies with the public, rather like the proposed national debate between the party leaders?
Having the chance to listen to and question candidates in person is a much better way of deciding who is a fit and proper person to represent us in Westminster than relying on a scrappy bit of paper pushed through a letterbox, or an advert in the press.
There are schools, sports halls and other such venues around the county that could host such events, so why not?
