I READ with great interest an article about the new bus in Bristol which runs on methane produced from human waste.
I believe such innovative approaches to congestion and pollution are the way forward. This type of public transport would be a great ecological and efficient alternative to more cars on the road.
I see a journey of around 186 miles can be derived from the methane produced by five people, which I believe, is the number of current members that comprise Herefordshire Council’s Cabinet. I wonder if they might volunteer to help power this bus? I am sure this would provide a never-ending supply of fuel.
Here’s to the future and the (not so) sweet smell of success.
