OUR worst fears about Kington Medical Practice are being realised. I have tried to get something done for the last two years by lobbying our MP and local councillor.

In my opinion the management team have got the practice into an invidious financial situation, not least because of the ludicrous decision to waste £3.5 million on the white elephant on the hill.

The practice needs a new dynamic, lateral thinking management team before it's too late. The white elephant should be the first to go and alternatives sought.

Hopefully, the sale of that monstrosity would realise enough funds to attract new doctors by possibly enabling more attractive salaries to be offered.

I wish I were 20 years younger: then I would bring the experience of years at board level within a public company to back my application to take over the management.

I hope someone with that kind of experience can be recruited.
