MY favourite thing about Hereford United has to be the Conference play-off final when we got promoted back into the Football League by beating Halifax.

My brother and I travelled down from Burnley. Being Hereford fans, we were excited and nervous for the game at Walkers Stadium.

The atmosphere was electric with loud of much loved United songs. The journey back to Burnley was a great feeling.

The game at Edgar Street against Leeds United is another of the great moments when I travelled down from Burnley with my mates who were Leeds fans, drinking a couple of pints of the famous cider before the match.

We didn't have a great season in League One, but the game against Leeds was unbelievable, and we beat them 2-0. The Leeds fans were superb and I was drinking a couple more pints with them after the game.

They were full of admiration for Hereford and their fans. The following day, we travelled back up north after a great day visiting Hereford Cathedral and the Cider Museum.

I am from Hereford and my dad took me everywhere to watch United home and away.

I have a mixture of emotions at the moment as this is a very sad moment for me and other United fans. Yet at the same time, it is exciting that we have our club back and are starting again with a new Hereford.

We are Hereford until the day we die. Come on the Bulls.
