HAVING a disabled son in receipt of benefits under Herefordshire Social Services to fund his support, food and lifestyle activities, I wish to record that he has just been reassessed by a council worker and more money taken from him by the council so that he cannot afford any lifestyle activities which are essential to his health and wellbeing.

With winter coming on and food prices increasing, what do the council think about denying disabled people like my son any focus for a life?

If the council are in a position to pay disproportionately high salaries to their senior executives, how can they penalise those with disadvantages they are supposed to be serving?

I am an OAP and an honourable taxpayer and stakeholder in the area. I object to the senior executives on the council being on such wages when the rest of us are being penalised.
