Come on employers - Bb fair with job seekers
MY daughter finished college in July 2013 after completing her hairdressing NVQ level 1 and 2 in 12 months. She obviously has a talent.
She took her CV, letter of introduction and a stamped addressed envelope to every hairdressing salon in Leominster but not one even returned her stamps. Just a ‘sorry we have no vacancies’ would have done.
Teenagers and adults are now getting to the point where they think: ‘Why bother?’ when employers clearly do not have the manners to let them know.
