Money should be spent on essentials

WELL said June Baxter. The council should only spend ratepayer's money on things that are essential to the running of the county. The sending out of a magazine four times a year is not essential and is a waste of my money.

AS a parent of a son in Year One and a daughter about to start in Reception this September, I was very distraught to hear of the apparently sudden decision to close Canon Pyon C of E School and to amalgamate it with Weobley and Dilwyn Primary Schools.

MY daughter has attention deficit disorder (ADD). She was diagnosed quite late in life and due to the difficulties this had caused she became increasingly distressed at school.
