MODEL aircraft enthusiasts descended on the village of Much Marcle over the weekend for a fantastic show.
And Large Model Association chairman, Dave Johnson, said Saturday had seen a record crowd.
The event, which usual takes place during the weekend of September, was held over two days, but sadly had to be called off on Sunday afternoon due to the poor weather.
However, Mr Johnson said the record crowd had come out on the Saturday to see more than 80 model aircraft with 55 pilots.
The models as some of the countries biggest and best models.
Mr Johnson said: "I think people had seen the forecast, so all came on the Saturday.
"It was a fantastic event, we must have had at least more than 6,000 attend."
A share of the profits from the event was also set to go to local good causes.
